Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44102237) and the date (1/6/1444 AH), in which it is indicated that the Federation received the letter of the General Transport Authority No. (1/44/5315) and the date (5/28/1444 AH) about the telegram of His Royal Highness, the Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee No. (4401136719) and the date (13/4/1444 AH), which includes the start of implementing the necessary procedures from the Ministry of the Interior to regulate the use of vehicles in the region of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the holy sites and Medina during the Hajj season of this year 1444 AH By the security authorities on all carriers according to the following controls:
The obligation of all transport companies, Tawafah establishments, and domestic pilgrims services establishments is not to hand over cars licensed to participate in transporting pilgrims to pilgrims’ drivers.
All types of vehicles bearing Saudi plates and with a capacity of less than (25) passengers, which are driven by those who wear Ihram, will be prevented from entering Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and they are reserved in small parking lots at the entrances to Makkah Al-Mukarramah or returned to their destination
All types of vehicles transporting seasonal labor will be subject to seizure in the parking lots of land pilgrims, immediately upon their arrival in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, and they will be prevented from carrying pilgrims except by the approved controls for that.
The commitment of all types of trucks whose owners wish to use them to transport livestock to the Holy Capital during the Hajj season by directing the General Traffic Department to register and obtain the necessary permit by the approved regulation for that.
All types of trucks carrying livestock will be banned from entering the Holy Capital from (11/13/1444 AH) until (12/13/1444 AH) unless there is a certificate.
